I still don’t understand why its so easy to be a police officer, and I still don’t understand why you only need an AA to become an officer. Shouldn’t a cop have a degree in political science to know the law and to ENFORCE the law? and should’t that be a requirement that the officers knows the law when called on to recite it? Shouldn’t all cops be tested annually and randomly to ensure they know these laws? Why is a cop allowed to get fat? How is it that we expect the very best from S.W.A.T, our army and navy and not a cop? If I can out run a cop how would he protect me? How does meeting a quota every year for how many tickets they have to give than how many lives they saved? Why is a cop allowed to be a complete dick yet we have to give them respect when they address us? Why are cops allowed eat/drink on the job when they are given a longggg paid lunch? Why are cops in little towns and compacted cities in cars rather than riding bikes and walking down our side walks, saving us money and probably forcing cops to being more attentive on the job. Why isn’t there this huge government department that its total purpose to audit, check, and randomly interview cops when they are written up or have several complaints about them and their integrity? Are cops given personality tests to ensure they don’t abuse their power? Can’t you tell I don’t respect them?
