Is this actually backed by any source, besides seeing a single chain do this? Like, I don’t ever eat at Wendy’s, so it doesn’t really matter, but I’m just curious to see if this has any actual source besides seeing the people at a single chain agreeing with them.
This CNN article confirms that multiple Wendy’s franchises are doing this.

Support extended beyond the restaurant chain. Some Wendy’s franchises in North and South Carolina weighed in Wednesday morning with signs outside their restaurants saying, “We Stand With Chick-fil-A.”
“SOME Wendy’s franchises in North and South Carolina.” It’s not all Wendy’s. If you live in North or South Carolina, go ahead and boycott it. But don’t go boycotting ALL the restaurants. A lot of the restaurants are privately own below corporate level. Some may support it, but others won’t. And boycotting all of them for something that wasn’t OFFICIALLY WENDY’S is hurtful to the local people who work there.
TL;DR: Don’t eat Wendy’s in the Carolinas or any store that has that posted outside of it.
Yeah, this sounds local. Until I start seeing it around here, or hear about it nationwide, I’ll still go to Wendy’s.
